TOUR DETAILS
Dive into the rich culture and history of Cairo in this unforgettable day tour. Take in impressions from the seed of Cairo, where everything started with a fortress called Babylon that was built in 525BC at the beginning of an ancient canal between the Nile River and the Red Sea. The canal is long gone but the urban structure from the era – Coptic Cairo – is until now well preserved. It is there where you will find Egypt’s oldest synagogue and in close proximity the oldest mosque in Africa, the Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque. It is on this tour as well that you will explore Cairo’s remarkable citadel from where, if you are lucky, you will be able to spot the pyramids!
